What is involved in a boiler service?
Heat UK operates a 30 point service check, which involves an initial check, service and safety inspection. This is a thorough check and can be performed on any age or make of boiler.
How quick can you arrive to perform repairs?
If you call before 12:00, we will aim to reach you on the same day. For a call made after 12:00, it is likely that we set a booking for the following day. Even during peak periods, we aim to arrive no later than 24 hours after we receive your request.
Do you offer a guarantee on your work/repairs?
Our 92% first time fix rate shows our work should hold up. Nonetheless, if there are any problems, guarantees are offered on all repairs. For further information contact us on 0191 456 2670.
Is there a fixed price on repairs?
The price will vary depending on what the repair is. We are therefore unable to offer fixed prices, but the best way to ascertain a cost is to contact us on 0191 456 2670 for a quote.
How long does a gas safety check usually take?
Depending on how many gas appliances there are to assess, the average gas safety check usually takes around 30 minutes per appliance to complete.
What method of payment do you accept?
We currently accept cash, credit and debit cards, as well as cheques.
How do you know your employees are trustworthy?
Heat UK operate an intensive training scheme for all employees, and unlike many repair services employ the majority of their workforce. As well as this, every member of staff is CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked.
Our engineers will keep you well informed at all times about what they are doing to prevent any misunderstanding.
What geographical area do you cover?
We cover all North East Postcode, NE, DL, TS, SR and DL.
Are you able to provide specific appointments?
We currently only offer morning or afternoon appointments. However, a feature that makes us special is that we will contact you 30 minutes before the engineer arrives to avoid you waiting around unnecessarily. We plan our day around you, not the other way round.
Can I book an appointment online?
Yes, simply fill in the online contact form. We aim to provide morning or afternoon appointments, and we do try very hard to arrive at all appointments on time or as soon as we can, however unforeseen circumstances do occur. If this happens, we will contact you in advance to let you know.
What is your complaints procedure?
